Below inscription is a 9 line note by the previous owner explaining how she met the author on the Queen Elizabeth on the way to England. He evidently was celebrating his recent divorce by traveling around the world and planning on running for Governor of Nevada on his return. 1901-1979 He was the White County's Assembly Man & member of The Republican State Commitee 1935-1945 He was one of the original surveyors and builders of The Lincoln Hyway / Nevada. 381pp. Content clean, bright and sound.
