Price sticker affixed to rear pastedown, dust jacket is lightly soiled and worn with small (up to 1 cm) tears to top edge. Inscribed by Grolier on the front free end paper to Prof. Warner Berthoff in 1972, when WB was on a Fulbright tour visiting Italian Americanists. Interior pages bright and unmarked. Limited edition no. 158 of 160 printed on paper hand made by Amatruda of Amalfi. 220, [6] pp. Card covers in grey card wraps with red lettering to the spine and front board, housed in a brown card chemise and slipcase. Edited with an afterword by Claudio Gaulier professor of English at Turin University. Some markings to the slipcase, else binding clean and fresh. A fine copy of this beautiful fine press edition of Shakespeare's Hamlet. There is a very small tear to the grey paper at the bottome right hand side of the spine. 4to. Limited Edition.
