Octavo. 173pp. Facing Portuguese and English text. Publisher's soft cloth with leather spine label gilt. Spine label worn, endleaves tanned and rippled (a production flaw), modest wear, very good and sound with an errata sheet laid in. Inscribed by the author on the front fly: "To --- A book to remember me - you will never get another like this - With love Phyllis Christol." Also prints several pages of housekeeping tips. Published in an edition of 1,000 copies with proceeds going to Portuguese charities. Reprinted several times, *OCLC* locates only eight copies of this first edition.…
