    Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. "This 5.25 x 7.5 inch, 410 page hardcover book is the 1905 second printing of this title by A. S. Barnes & Company as shown on the title and copyright page. This copy is in near fine condition with the grey cloth covers and red lettering with green-and-gold decoration on front panel and spine all clean and bright. The book covers show very little wear. The interior shows a previous owners name stamp on the front pastedown but beyond that the text shows no damage or markings. The book contains four illustrations by Claude Shepperson. This copy has the 1905 date on the title page but the copyright page additional statement "Published September 1905, Second Printing." This book has no dust jacket. The storyline suggests a novel set in Europe with the characters built around the noble class and their underlings, and the struggle between. 410 pages.".
