In good olive green cloth boards, gilt vignette of crow on branch to front; faded gilt titles to spine. The boards are a little grubby around the ed…ges; with slight collapsed hollow and front a little wobbly; cloth slightly faded. Lightly tanned free end papers; webbing from spine visible from front end papers. Quite clean cut edges. The text block is in very good condition, illustrated with 84 b/w photos taken at Selborne by Cherry and Richard Keaton. The pages are tightly bound and unmarked and with a slight warp. Overall condition is good plus due to condition of boards. No dedications etc. Without jacket. Cherry and Richard Keaton (illustrator).

In good minus green cloth boards with gilt titles and image of branch with nest to front and to spine. The boards are flat and fairly clean; wobbly and loose from the… page block. From the end papers the spine's webbing can be seen and the centre of the end papers are torn. Most of the text block after the title page are printed on glossy paper and have many photos, some with 'coloured and Remnbrandt plates' (with tissue guards). The pages are firm and straight and the paper used for the sepia platers are tanned. The end pages and cut edges are tanned; otherwise pages unmarked. Good minus condition (to reflect the stat of boards). No dedications etc. Without jacket. Heavy. Please contact us for cost of postage if shipping outside the UK.
