Condition: Fine. No Jacket. First Edition Proof Wraps. This is Michael Chefitz's second novel bound in manuscript form. The book is in beautiful condition. It is quarto in size(11" tall and just over 8" wide) and these are the Advance Uncorrected Proofs. Chefitz's previous novel 'The Seventh Telling', a bestseller. dealt with the discipline of the Kabbalah in it's genuine form and this novel deals with the teaching of the Torah in the same way. I know that those words make it sound like a book of non-fiction, but this is a true novel based on real experiences in the teaching of the Torah. This is a remarkable piece of modern Judaica in a pre-first edition format. This proof was published in a very small printing so that the author and the publisher could go over it and make any changes that were necessary before publication of the first edition. This book is much more rare than the First Edition and it even has a couple of change indications marked with a sharpie by either the Author or publisher, This copy is very close to the publisher and author making it a very collectible item.
