Condition: Fair. 1924. First Edition. This is an ex-Library book. Half bound leather with purple cloth covered boards with gilt lettering to and decoration to front. Boards have been laminated. Signed to front pastedown by Coryndon Ommanney Luxmoore. Contains 89 black and white and colour illustrated and photographic plates. Ex-Library copy, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Binding remains firm. Pages are lightly tanned with foxing. More pronounced towards the start and end of the book. Marking to endpapers and pastedowns with library markings. Boards have heavy edge wear with corner bumping. Loss to lamination covering spine and edges of boards. Leather peeling to spine and corners with noticeable scuffing. Heavy markings and scratches overall. Book has a slight forward lean.
