Seller: Books for Collectors, Lancashire, United Kingdom
First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. This is a UK first edition hardcover published by Collins in 1932. The dust jacket is in Good condition and unclipped ("New 7/6 Wild West Novels"). It has been backed onto blue card to strengthen it - if you look at the photos, where you can see the blue edge along the front cover (and back) this is the backing - basically where you can see backing is where the respective pieces of the dust jacket are missing. Nevertheless a surprisingly good job was done and the effect is quite appealing and retains the integrity of the book. The book is Very Good with straight spine, sharp corners and firm spine ends. There is toning to the page edges and an owner stamp to the title page and copyright page, requesting you take care of the book. Pity the owner didn't follow his own instructions. The copyright page confirms the first publication in 1932.
