Condition: Very Good. 3rd American Edition. 3-volume set, sturdy brown cloth with a beautiful frontis plate of the author with the original tissue-guard present, this is the 3rd American Edition from Platt's London Edition, it includes "Memoir of the Author, and Expositions of the Lord's Prayer and the Decalogue," the former owner's name is present on the first blank end-paper of each volume, Volumes 1 and 2 are in very nice shape, the spine-ends have some chipping and the bottom corner-tips have edge-wear but there are no other remarkable flaws, the bindings are clean and tight and the contents are in great shape, Volume 3 is also clean and tight with fine contents, this volume has more extensive edge-wear to the cloth, please see our photos, the "Account of the Present Edition" on page 3 states the following: "This first American edition of Bishop Ezekial Hopkins' Works is a reprint of Pratt's London edition of 1809. The only abridgment is the ommission of two discourses, found among the "Miscellaneous Sermons in the fourth volume".…
