This handsome and highly collectible book retains the original boards, but it has been rebacked with black leather, with gold stamping, leather corners and new endpapers. The interior is excellent. The paper used is high-quality glossy, which has held up beautifully. The e…dges are gilded. The gray boards are lightly soiled, the only point in this book's disfavor. The book contains a number of articles (details on request) and is heavily illustrated. There were two other volumes in this series, but I find no trace of the originals for sale on any venue.
