This copy is bound in blue cloth covered boards with bright gilt titling to the spine, there are blue endpapers, there is a small book plate to the f.e.p. The text block is unmarked in bright, white, tight and square. The unclipped dust wrapper has some edge wear, especially to the head of the spine, and a few closed tears, it has now been covered in clear, removable, protective film. This book was written by an Australian offshoot of the large Shaw family and is a memoir enlivened by G.B. S's corrections of his cousin's account printed in red on opposing pages. While the author recalls meeting G.B.S. in Dublin in 1871 as a boy, G.B.S. accepts only that they met in the 1930s as ancient men! Ref TT6.
