The author's account of his days in Taperinha, Brazil under the hospitality of American sugar manufacturer Mr. R. J. Rhome. Illustrations include the plantation house at Taperinha, views of cane - mills, a scene of picking tobacco leaves, preparing tobacco, the beach below Santarem, a scene of fishing by torchlight, a Judas tree and Calabash tree, Sandy Campos, and others of general interest. Housed in protective mylar report cover with spine sleeve.
