Slim 4to, unpaginated pp60 fully illustrated in b/w and colour throughout by Cecil Aldin. Hardcover no dust jacket. Binding of vellum spine over red cloth board…s with gilt titles to spine and front board in very good condition with the spine being a little grubby and a little rubbing to tips of boards. Inside all pages with top edge gilt in lovely clean and bright, near fine condition. A very nice tightly bound copy. Patrick R. Chalmers mostly wrote prose works, particularly books on angling, horse racing and hunting he also contributed articles on various sports to periodicals and magazines such as "The Field" and "Punch" in which all of this verses appeared, at one point or another. Cecil Aldin (illustrator). Signed by Illustrator(s).
