Hardcover. Condition: Fair. A reasonable copy only of the sixth edition, although the binding is sound and secure. There is a bit of rubbing and fraying at the head and tail of the spine, and the covers and spine are a little marked. There is some foxing and fading to the front and rear endpapers, and a previous ownership name in fountain pen on the front free endpaper. There is quite a long pencilled note on the verso of the front free endpaper, and at the end of the main text (I have pictured both of these), with a few shorter pencilled annotations throughout. Overall, a reasonable copy of the 6th edition, but with a bit of shelf wear and some pencilled notes. …
