FIRST EDITION, 168/180 COPIES, a facsimile of the Collected Poems 1934-1952 printed on Glastonbury Antique Laid paper and decorated with line-drawings throughout by Ceri Richards, totalling 42 in number, and including Augustus John's portrait of Thomas present in the original edition, pp. xvi, ix, 169, [1], crown 8vo, original black buckram-backed illustrated boards, these and the slipcase (yellow cloth and boards) with reproductions of two hand-drawn dustjacket designs by Richards, backstrip lettered in gilt, a couple of very faint marks to slipcase, very good. In November 1953 a few hours before the death of Dylan Thomas in new York the Welsh artist Ceri Richards made a series of forty drawings in his copy of Thomas's 'Collected Poems'; a very worthwhile publication.
