Original Paper Covered Boards. Condition: Good to Very Good. First Edition Thus. 1952. First edition thus. xvi, 792pp, a 1 page list of other publications, 5 maps, 8 charts, and 6 photographs. The first official year book of Southern Rhodesia was published in 1924. The second and third year books appeared in 1930 and 1932. The present volume is, therefore, the fourth in the series, though the gap since 1932 has been partially filled by the "Statistical Year Books" publihsed in 1938 and 1947, and the "Statistical Handbooks," publihsed in 1939 and 1945. Besides containing authoritative articles on major aspect of Southern Rhodesia's history and like, the present volume brings up to date the bulk of the statistics which have appeared in previous Year Books. Bound in blue paper covered boards with black titling, the book is in good to very good condition with shelf wear and some staining and soiling on the boards. The corners are bumped with a little damage and loss to the paper covering the corner tips. The spine ends are bumped with a little damage. The contents are tight and clean and all plates and maps etc. are present. There is some browning and soiling to the endpapers and a name and date has been written on the front free endpaper.
