Paperback. Condition: Fine. First Edition. Wraps. 1/2000. Folio. 11.5x16" Photo-illustrated multicolored cardboard sleeve, with lettering in yellow, blue, red, back and white on the covers. The sleeve houses loose leaves. This is copy #1099 from of a limited edition of 2000 copies. "HYPE! was Visionaire's parody of the media and a spoof on the tabloids. Visionaire had become known as the fashion magazine that didn't carry advertising, but this issue was full of ironic "ads." Funny slogans and tag lines were added to every page." - The Publisher Contributors to this issue of the periodical include Bill Cunningham, David LaChapelle, David Sims, Francois Berthoud, Helmut Lang, Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, John Bartlett, John Galliano, Mario Testino, Niki Taylor, Richard Martin and Stephane Sednaoui. Very faint rubbing at corners o/w about fine. Excellent condition.
