No dust jacket. Boards are clean and sharp with no spi…ne lean. Title label to spine worn though still perfectly legible. Previous owners name to ffep, dated 1936. Otherwise contents are bright, crisp, unmarked and in Near Fine condition. "These true stories of adventure bearing the title Living Dangerously were originally broadcast to listeners in the British Empire through the British Broadcasting Corporation's Empire Station at Daventry, in a series bearing the same name. Owing to the interest which they created it has been decided to collect them together in book form in the present volume." Many contributors: '37 stories of adventure on land, at sea, in the air and investigating the unknown' originally broadcast on radio. Stories from well-known figures, explorers and adventurers of the day, including film-maker Robert J. Flaherty, land-speed record holder Sir Malcolm Campbell, magical expositor J. C. Cannell, V.E. Fuchs (Antarctic explorer), Freya Stark, Robert Wyndham among many others. A very well-kept, clean, first edition. Scarce, particularly in this condition.
