Condition: Used - Good. Good hardback. First Edition. 1st edition, 1909, in cerise cloth with dark red lettering & decoration; gilt title on spine; colour frontis; B&W illustrations. Owners' inscriptions on prelims; text generally clean; spine faded, with wear at head & foot; boards a little faded, & worn at corners. With contribution by Doyle, Jerome K Jerome; Galsworthy, Corelli, M.E Braddon & many others.
