    Original Cloth. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. First Edition. Signed by the author on the front free endpaper with a dedication. The boards are a little faded at the edges with some corner bumping and a small patch of discolouration to the top right hand corner of the rear panel. Page edges browned with some spotting. Small note in ink to rear free endpaper about returning the book. Spotting to endpapers and through to page 23 - quite large brown spots to a few of these pages. Occasional spotting through the book. The jacket has a two inch piece missing from the bottom of the spine which also has some surface tearing and has been repaired with tape. Tape reinforcing along the fore-edges of front and rear panels. The jacket is darkened with spotting and staining to the rear panel and the flaps. First printing. Charlton, M.A. (illustrator). Signed by Author(s).
