    Stapled. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. The January 1938 issue of The American Magazine. Contains - Crime in White, novel by Theodora Du Bois which I believe was published as Death Wears a White Coat. Partners - An American Storiette by Frederick Schiller Faust (Max Band), part 3 of 4 of Dust Across the Range, a novel by Max Brand (Frederick Schiller Faust), The Young Spriggins, a Scattergood story by Clarence Budington Kelland, Virginia Voyage, a pirate story F Britten Austin, The World's Greatest Engineering Wonder, an article about the Grand Coulee and Bonneville dams by Richard L Neuberger, and others, Numerous vintage ads. Condition issues include light soiling with a damp stain (mostly visible from the reverse) to the front cover, soiling to the rear cover with two closed tears to the fore edge (1" & 1.5"), wear to the spine with small lost at the top & bottom, remnants of a mail label on the bottom of the front cover, and small dog ears to the bottom corner of the pages toward the front. The interior is clean and tight. No cutouts or missing pages. A good copy of a vintage magazine.
