Turquoise colored paper spine and covers with black lettering on both the spine and the front cover, and a black line illustration on the front cover - all clean and bright. Book has a very light rubbing at the head of the spine and at the very tips of a couple of the outside corners. Binding has a very faint concavity that looks to be more from production than use. Binding is still tight. Pages are all clean, white, and crisp, but a previous owner hasdone some light highlighting on 8 of the book's 488 pages and has written dates in on the page with the list of illustrations - otherwise tight and clean; uncommon.
