The facsimile is made from an unsophisticated copy which originally consisted of two leaves extra' to the normal edition. One of these leaves is missing but has been reproduced in the introduction. The extra material is described in the introduction. Certain variations in this copy are compared with other variants of the 1535 edition to be found in The Newberry Library, Chicago, The Houghton Library of Harvard University, The Bibliotheque Nationale and The University Library, Amsterdam.
