Condition: Fair. 1887. No Edition Remarks. 400 pages. No dust jacket. Quarter bound blue leather spine with blue patterned covered boards. Gilt lettering. Textblock is in French. Clean pages with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Red marbled patterned pastedowns and free…endpapers. Ownership plate stuck to front pastedown. Pencil, label markings and minor tear to front free endpaper. Hinges are slightly cracked with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Noticeable splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Gilt lettering is darkened. Visible wear marks to spine and panels.
