Contemporary pebbled brown cloth with some stains; old glue repair to spine's surface cloth adhering it to underlying back-strip but leaving visible separation along front joint with more subtle fix along rear joint; spine's gilt stamping remains bright; some wear to board corners. Front endpapers toned with old newspaper clipping affixed to front pastedown; slight toning to unpaged b/w plates; a few instances of scattered foxing, soiling, and stains to interior text leaves which, overall, remain clean. Exterior glue repair perhaps a bit clumsy but still effective and binding is firm.
