Admiral Sir Allen Gordon Tait, KCB, DSC (30 October 1921 - 29 May 2005) was a senior Royal Navy officer who served as Second Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Personnel from 1977 to 1979. During WWII, Tait was involved in the seizure of n enigma machine from a German ship.Light wear only to cream coloured boards, edges tanned, pages are clean, binding is tight. Unclipped dust jacket has general wear including edge wear, scuffing, creasing. Grading commensurate with age of book, which is over 50 years old.
