    Paperback. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. NrF. First edition. No date, (1989). Paperback. 226pp. PRESENTATION COPY INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR, on title-page. Inscription reads, 'For --- -----/"Kindest Regards"/Leslie W Robinson/ June 1990./First Edition'. There is a small publisher's label affixed to the title-page stating 'Complimentary Copy, First Edition'; there are also two loose, single page details from the publisher one stating that 'only a limited amount of First Editions available'. This is the wartime biography of Captain Walker - officer of the 9th Brigade Durham Light Infantry. He was captured and imprisoned in several Nazi prison camps; Laufen, Poznan, Biberach, Warburg, Eichstatt, Spangenburg, and finally Colditz. He was rescued by the Allies Army and returned to England on 19th April 1944. Tragically he died some two years later, after surviving his long imprisonment. A near fine copy of a SCARCE limited first edition SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR, LESLIE W ROBINSON. Presentation Copy Inscribed And Signed.
