This is a hardcover book with 427 pages including many illustrated maps. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling or tears. There is stamp on the first end paper. The copyright page shows 1950 as the published date. The blue covers show some light soiling and there is a vertical crease mark on the back from the top to the bottom. This old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!.
