Front gutter cracked through; binding feels a bit fragile, but holding steady. Illustrative frontispiece of Winfield Scott Hancock. Title and copyright page dated 1880. 431 plus a page of publisher's ad. A few pages are chipped along edges, but overall interiors are clean and unmarked. Colour frontispiece and b + w illustrations. Original owner's name and date 1931 in pencil to the inner board, a few fingerprints, otherwise internally clean. Adventure stories include Trapped! A Scouting Story' by Walter Rhodes and stories by Mark Harborough, Harold Avery and Captain G B McKean V.C. and a poem by William Pitt.…
