No other library marks on any pages. Clean covers, missing much of the gilt in the spine l…ittering, sold binding, complete with short-ttile page and with four pages of publisher's ads at end. Title page is heavily embrowned and has a tideline. Subsequent 30 pages have increasingly faint tideline in upper outside corner. Pages 161 to 176 have heavy embrowning. Most other pages are bright but some have light scattered foxing (not heavy). The book measures 222mm tall x 150mm, and has 492 + [4] pages, b/w frontispiece. There was a subsequent edition in 1841, and then this one, all with the same pagination. Worldcat shows this to be the scarcest of the three, with only five libraries holding copies. Small oval blindstamp on title page. Remains of card pocket on back free endpaper. Otherwise a good copy, bound in quarter calf over boards.
