    Mass Market Paperback. Condition: Good. First Edition. No date but probably the first and only printing and dating from the early 1950s. Front cover has light surface creasing, one small closed tear in the edge and a little surface discolouration. The rear cover has some surface staining. The spine has a tiny piece of the surface missing at the bottom and has a closed tear at the top. Light browning to page edges. Previous owner's name and date (Dec 1953) on first page where he has also written 'Mum - call me at 7.15.' Pages are otherwise unmarked with only some browning and rust marks at the staples. Extremely rare.
