Buschiazzo" de la Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (FADU-UBA).

This was the inaugural volume in the series titled "Arquitectos Americanos Contemporaneos (Contemporary American Architects). Shows aging on cover. Spine has scuffing and is mis…sing paper near the bottom. Binding is good. Pages are clean. 29 pages of text are followed by a section filled with black & white photos, diagrams and drawings. There is then a small section of color images of specific project drawings. Williams was known for his modernist designs, principally a house he designed for his father that is known as "Casa sobre el Arroyo" ("House on the Stream"), finished in 1946. There are drawings and photos of it in the book. The house was declared a National Historic Monument in 1997 (Wikipedia). Mr. Williams signed, inscribed and dated this copy to Reginald Malcolmson, a fellow modernist architect. Irish born, Mr. Malcolmson was dean of the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan from 1964 to 1974. He had earlier served as an assistant to Mies van der Rohe, a pioneer of modern architecture. This is certainly a collectible item with an interesting provenance. Please see attached photos.
