Prima edizione uscita dai torchi di Zoppino e pubblicata dopo quella impressa da Giunta a Firenze nel 1526 di questa opera storica sulla guerra dei Goti e Longobardi di Leonardo Bruni (1370-1444) umanista e politico. Bruni fu segretario apostolico e cancelliere della Repubblica fiorentina dal 1427. Nato ad Arezzo e morto a Firenze (Rif. Edit16). Traduzione in lingua italiana di Lodovico Petroni dedicata a Conte Galezzo Sforza. Bel frontespizio figurato. Antiche note manoscritte alle sguardie. Indicazione dello stampatore al colophon e bella marca xilografica che mostra San Nicola in trono: con la mano sinistra regge il pastorale e con la destra accoglie il cesto delle offerte portato da una donna inginocchiata.
