Die Nummer 24 mit dem von Martin Kippenberger und Albert Oehlen gestalteten Cover und einem längeren, illustrierten Beitrag über eine Visite in Rio, Nummer 50 mit "Zwei Kerzen" von Gerhard Richter auf dem Titel. Die führende deutschsprachige Fachzeitschrift für Photographie, die sich sowohl historisch, als auch künstlerisch, sowie theoretisch-wisenschaftlich mit dem Medium beschäftigt, erscheint seit 1980 vierteljährlich. Sie wurde vom Grazer Photographen Manfred Willmann gegründet.
