Banco De Ideas Z is a collective and its members at this time were: Ludovico, Abelardo Mena, Jorge Alejandro Camacho, Rodolfo Arronde López, Sandra Rodriguez Rivalta, Carmen Cintra Romeu, and Juan Carlos Herrera Verano. Jorge Alejandro Camacho (Havana, 1964). Poet, fiction writer, and playwright. He has published the poetry collections Epigramas (1989), Confesiones de los olvidados de la guerra de Troya (1991), Flor de papel(1992), and *Saga* (1973), as well as short stories and essays in periodicals. "Banco de Ideas Z's intention is to promote contemporary visual art with a cultural focus. Moving beyond personal or institutional inertia, internalized paternalism, or the almost obligatory reference to the socioeconomic context, BIZ works with modest resources and firm resolvesteadily and without pausetoward national and international recognition for Cuban artists and the integration of art into other sociocultural spheres.".
