Singer/Songwriter Christine Fellows was selected to participate as Artist-in-Residence at Le Musée de Saint-Boniface Museum in 2009, through the Winnipeg Art Council's Public Art Program. As part of this residency, Fellows was commissioned to create new work inspired by the Museum. Reliquary/Reliquaire, the resulting multi-disciplinary performance work, is a song cycle created by Fellows, performed live with a 4-piece ensemble, overhead projections and film, in the chapel at the Saint Boniface Museum in September, 2009. Film footage that appears in this performance is rom Golden Jubilee: A Picture Story of Seven Days of Celebration Marking the 50th Year of St. Boniface as a City, produced by Ivan Lambert for the St. Boniface Jubilee Committee, in 1958, and edited for this project in 2009 by Caelum Vatnsdal.
