"It was in 1831, after a tour of Europe that Charles Draeger himself, son of a printer, settled in Paris and entered Plon's house. In 1887, he settled on his own, assisted by his three sons Georges, Maurice and Robert. Draeger specialized very quickly in high-quality work that matched the family's taste for perfection. This high-end positioning lead the company to work for advertising and the luxury industry for which it produced catalogs, brochures, labels and cardboard."
