Par is considered one of the fathers of surgery and modern forensic pathology and a pioneer in surgical techniques and battlefield medicine, especially in the treatment of wounds. He was also an anatomist and invented several surgical instruments.Magati proposed treatments for wounds with involved preventing exposure to the air, and also denied the need for cleaning and anointing wounds, instead prescribing bandaging with simple linens, to be renewed only after five or six days. With a faint library stamp to the title page, and with handwritten library label to back strip tail.A very scarce work which greatly influenced wound hygiene and healing.
