The boards are much marked, worn, scuffed all about from handling, use, storage. They are secure and steady. The contents are resolutely cheerful. They have foxing, handling marks, storage/age related marks. The page trims are gilded (tarnished). The pages are diligent, certain, convivial, generous. fk.
