Thomas titled "Decorating The Soldiers' Graves--Ceremonies At Arlington, Virginia", subtitled "Unknown Soldiers' Monument At Arlington", "Orphan Children Strewing Flowers On The Graves At Arlington", an engraving by J. W. Thyng titled "Decorating General Lander's Grave At Salem, Mass." and an engraving by Stanley Fox titled "Decorating The Three Thousand Soldiers' Graves In Cypress Hill Cemetery, Near Brooklyn, Long Island" -- Page 392 has a full page engraving by W. M. Cary titled "The Life Of An Indian" consisting of nine separate engravings -- Page 393 has a full page engraving by C. G. Bush titled "The Peddler's Wagon" -- Page 396 has three engravings titled as follows: "The Late Ex-President Buchanan", who died on June 1, 1868, "Removal Of The Remains Of The Late Stephen A. Douglas To The Mausoleum At Chicago" by W. B. Baird, and "Inauguration Of The Benton Statue At St. Louis, May 27, 1868" by A. M.
