Inscribed by Britton with a doodle "For Heather for her new book & her kindness & her self portrait with thanks Burt".

A charming volume of self portraits approximately 630 of authors and celebrities that came in contact with Britton at the Strand Book store or his later self styled establishment farther uptown with his partner Jeanette Watson. Front wrapper is torn and repaired with scotch tape inscribed by Britton"For Thomas Meyer - with love from Korby & Burt for your kindness" Meyer has contributed a self portrait in the text on page 113. Except for the tear , a very good copy in printed wraps. Tom Meyer was a port and partner of poet/photographer and publisher of Jargon Society Jonathan Williams.
