Hardcover. Condition: Good. Hardcover without dust jacket. Gilt printing to spine and embossed design to both front and rear. Illustrated with ten plates on heavyweight art paper, plus 121 pages of text, including a catalogue of Turner's works at rear. Signature and addresses of two previous owner's penned to FEP (one dated 1858 and the other 1928) and bookseller blind stamp to the same. Rust coloured markings to the front board and further faint markings to front and rear, edges are worn. Internally, the pages are clean and unmarked but some minor foxing intermittently throughout. Water mark to margin of plate VIII, but does not impede image. Hinge break at front paste down. Scarce copy in good condition for age. AD. Used.
