A thick, hardback book, quarter-bound maroon coloured leather binding, with darker burgundy sides, gilt titles on both the spine and front board. No dust jacket. This wonderful book is in very condition and as its a used book, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. A few brown marks to top edge of papers, 818 pages, all intact and all pages in nice, clean, readable order, tight binding. (Errata slip tipped in). Photographic young image of "Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II" by Antony Buckley on page adjoining the title page.
