In the original dark brown embossed, bevel-edged leather with four rondels to front and rear with images inside and blind stamped surrounding decoration; five raised horizontal bands to spine. The boards are straight and clean; quite tight, with top front board a little loose. Very good minus condition. Spine ends and corners are worn; tiny tear to leather from top end of spine. The pale yellow end papers are marked; the front free end paper is missing. Shiny gilt cut edges. The text block is very firm and flat; some pages have marks, the Prelims and end pages are quite foxed; light foxing to very light foxing throughout - not tanned. Name of previous owner on front paste down end paper; same name appears on half title page. Very heavy. Please contact us for cost of postage.
