Covers are spotted with spine faded to brown. Frontis is chipped at fore edge and has a faded inscription on verso. A quite solid copy. Book deals with different hunting rifles and their pros and cons, hunting different fowl, rabbits, hunting dogs, the different methods of making barrels and quality of gun powder.

Overall good, with superficial scuffing and bumping to corners of boards. Light starting to hinges. Text block remains bound well. Light markings. Nicely illustrated throughout, with a small assortment of both in-text sketches and full-page black-and-white plates. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce and nicely illustrated piece on miscellaneous firearm and shooting information, including firearm selection, shooting poses, and the hunting of fowl.
