Otherwise, pages are clean, tight and unmarked. The price-clipped dust jacket is in good condition with scratches, rippling on the front panel, .5" closed tear on the back panel, tear and chipping on the top of the spine panel and top corners. A string is taped to the front flap. The author was the executive sports edition and long time columnist for the Bangor Daily News. Profusely illustrated with photographs in black and white. Includes a photograph of President Eisenhower and other fishing companions of the author. Also includes a chapter with old time Maine Recipes and records of the White Tail Deer Kills, Trout and Salmon catches. The author was known for his no nonsense gruff style. Please see all images.
