Half Leather+marble, Fine. Condition: Very Good. Half Leather 11th Printing of 1st Edit. iv+292pp 8vo half leather, sl nick top front of spine but othwise case excellent for its age, internally text unmarked, but light foxing mainly at ends of book. Buchanan was successful in a campaign in Parliament, the East India Company and throughout GB to get Gospel ministry officially and legally open for native Indians rather than restricting it to British East India company chaplaincies (see Davidson's published doctoral thesis). An excellent early leather copy.with largely unmarked marble. Size: 8vo. Antiquarian.
