First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, original binding of blindstamped cloth boards, with gilt to spine. Exterior shows some spotting with some fading to the spine and rear board. There's also a stain on the spine near the center. The edges and corners only show minor handling wear but the spine tips are chipped on both head and tail. Internal binding is good, no hinge cracks and text pages are tight for the most part. There are no signatures, no bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting etc. Pages are toned due to age and there is foxing present, although the worst seems to be at both end pages and pastedowns with a large spot also at the bottom of the title page. Note: both front and rear boards do have a blindstamped design, but the camera was not able to catch the pattern very well.
