On the British team was Robert Bruniges, Gareth Evans, Geoffrey Grimmett, Barry Paul, and Graham Paul. The French team was captained by Jean Capoulade and included Patrice Menon, Christian Noel, and Jean-Marie Safra. The program lists Didier Flament as a member of the French team but he was replaced by M. Gerboni. The program has been SIGNED BY BRUNIGES on the back cover and SIGNED BY GERBONI, NOEL, and SAFRA on the front cover. Noel was the 1973 and 1975 world men's foil champion; Bruniges, the 1976 World Youth Champion. All of the British fenced in the Olympics.
