A short story by Fitzgerald with graphics by Byron Burford and a Note by Mathew J. Bruccoli. Hand printed on Ruysdael Rag paper. Limited to 300 copies of which this is copy 113. This copy is signed and inscribed by Mathew J. Bruccoli on the colophon page. Two page story along with two full. page graphics by Byron Burford. Mild rubbing to the spine. Bruccoli found "Dearly Beloved" in the F. Scott Fitzgerald papers at the Princeton University library and published it in the Fitzgerald / Hemingway Annual 1969. He notes that "Although it is impossible to date the story with confidence, stylistic evidence places it late in Fitzgerald's career; and Beauty Boy's interest in Plato and the Rosecrucians recalls the Negro fisherman in 'The Last Tycoon' the novel Fitzgerald was writing at his death in 1940.
